The list is written by more than one person.
The index exists so that work scattered across a network of writers, researchers and practitioners sits in one place, where any of us can find it and pass it on. No fee is paid and no fee is charged, in either direction.

Which one you want depends on whether the thing exists yet, and on who will write it.
An idea, for work that does not
A subject the network thinks is going uncovered. You are not volunteering to write it: you are telling us it is worth writing. Send an idea.
Your own writing, for the imprint
A guest piece under your byline, or a paper written with us. No money either way, and the work stays yours. Write with us.
What an idea gets you
An answer in writing
Yes or no, with a reason. No promise on how fast, and no answer that is just silence.
No money either way
Nothing is paid for an idea and nothing is charged to send one. Nothing on the index is there because someone paid for it, and there is no tier that can be bought.
No obligation, on either side
Sending an idea creates no relationship between us, and a yes to an idea is not a commitment to a date.
Credit if it gets written
An idea that turns into a piece earns its sender a mention or a credit in the writing itself. Which of the two depends on how much of the finished argument came from you, and it is not something you have to ask for.
The same standard
If it gets written it is held to what everything here is held to: accurate and correct, or it does not go out.
House rules for anything published under this imprint
These govern the writing itself, whoever ends up doing it.
No villains
Name the structural gap, not a culprit. Where a company is credited, the credit is load-bearing and survives the edit.
US English
Including when the subject is not American.
No em dashes
Anywhere. Rewrite the sentence rather than substituting another mark.
One image plus the cover
Where the piece carries a figure worth showing, that image is a statistical callout. Where it does not, a pull quote.
The short cut runs under 3,000 characters
No hashtags. No links in the body; the link goes in the first pinned comment.

How a partner's work appears here. Nothing to sign: these are the terms for every listing.
Linked, not hosted
Your piece stays on your own site, under your control. The index links to it. Work written for the imprint is the one exception, and it runs under the contributor terms.
Our words, not yours
A listing carries the facts about the piece (title, author, where and when it appeared) and a short description written here. We do not copy the piece. Any quotation is a short phrase, with the link.
Your rights stay yours
Listing claims no ownership of your work and asks for no license. Nothing moves in either direction.
Relationships disclosed
If an author has a connection to the imprint, to Always Questioning or to Fellowship Intelligence, the listing says so.
No money either way
Nothing is paid to be listed and nothing is charged. A listing cannot be bought.
Coming down
Write to rights@wrongdefaultmedia.com and the listing is removed within ten business days. We may also remove a listing if the link breaks or the piece no longer holds up.
